Horse riding
Just a stone’s throw away from the Océan Breton campsite is the Kervignon equestrian centre. Located within 2 km from the campsite, it offers different horse-riding courses for experienced riders and beginners. You can either start with booking a course for half a day and see how it feels for you, or commit for a longer course for the whole duration of your holiday at the Océan Breton campsite.
Beginners can book a short course to learn how to sit comfortably in the saddle, and get to know the do’s and dont’s of horse-riding. More advanced riders can book a session of galloping or horse-jumping at the facilities of the equestrian club.
The club also offers excursions and outings on horseback, inviting you to discover the beautiful Breton nature while riding a horse. One of the most spectacular trails leads you along the seashore – here, you can enjoy the breathtaking views of the Breton seaside and the Atlantic Ocean. Another great trail takes you deeper into the Breton mainland. One of the most popular options is an hour-long group outing for up to 10 people – this ride takes you closer to the local beaches. While you are exploring Brittany on horseback, enrol your child in a course to practice in galloping or horse-jumping at the centre.
The youngest horse-riders will surely enjoy their horse riding holidays and excursions into the beautiful Breton countryside, too. For the youngest equestrians, the Kervingon centre offers rides on ponies. In the programme are: getting on a trail through the surrounding countryside and riding towards the beautiful beach, and you can also enrol your children in the dynamic trick riding or jumping lessons among others. You will find the Kervignon riding centre perfect for improving your equestrian skills or simply learning more about horses and ponies.
